Century21 Bermuda Properties is pleased to announce the newest addition to our team – N. Koshea Scott-Millett.
Aside from her role as a Sales Associate, Koshea is also a Barrister & Attorney, who is the Managing Partner of Covenant Property Law Chambers which specializes in the broad spectrum of sale, purchase, mortgage and lease of commercial and residential real estate within Bermuda, property disputes and Wills and Estate Planning.
Koshea has practiced law in both the public sector as a Crown Prosecutor and Parliamentary Draftsman and in the private sector as a member of Marshall Diel & Myers’ civil and commercial litigation team as well as their conveyancing team. She has also practiced at several other prestigious law firms on the island.
A graduate of Georgia State University, USA with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in English & Journalism (Honours) Koshea went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Legal Studies (post graduate LLB) from the University of Bristol, England. Koshea also attended Nottingham Law School where she obtained her Post Graduate Bar Vocation Diploma to qualify as a barrister in England and Wales. Koshea was admitted to practice as a Barrister in England & Wales (2001) by the Honourable Society of Grays Inn (London) (now a non-practicing member), and as was admitted as a Barrister and Attorney in Bermuda (2002).
Koshea is a member of the Bermuda Bar Association, the Commonwealth Association of Legislative Counsel (CALC), the Bermuda Section of the International Commission of Jurists and she is both Notary Public and Commissioner of Oaths.
In addition to being a real estate agent and a lawyer, Koshea is also a freelance journalist who has served as columnist for the Bermuda Sun’s Real Estate section. She currently serves as a member of the Bermuda Arts Council and has also served on the Board of Directors of Cedarbridge Academy, the Bermuda Public Services Vehicle Licensing Board and the Heritage Advisory Committee.
